New Orange Cat Support Center online now
March 9th, 2007 by Bob Stovall
We have gotten much busier in the past few months and that has caused a problem with service requests that have been emailed in. You know, add an email address or two, change a password, update phone numbers on websites, etc.
Very often service requests were made in replies to emails that we sent out - so the subject line was totally unrelated to the request. Although we do our best to follow up on these, it is very easy for them fall through the cracks. I don’t believe we have lost any, but a second request from a client shouldn’t be necessary.
We needed a better way of tracking service requests to be sure that all of your needs were addressed and followed through to completion. So we looked around and found some simple software specifically designed to address this issue. We have decided to use Maian Support v1.2 and we think you will like it.
The new support system has been installed at:
http://support.orangecat.net
There you can create a job ticket for any service request you have and we are immediately notified of any new ticket. We can request further information from you if necessary and follow the item through to completion, keeping you informed every step of the way.
As of March 9, 2007, any service request received by email will be directed to the Orange Cat Support Center so it can be effectively tracked. So save some time and submit a ticket at the Support Center.
Please use the new system with the understanding that we are trying to serve you in a more professional and efficient manner. The old system was “good enough,” but whenever we get a chance to improve on “good enough,” we will.
So from now on, whenever you need service of any kind from Orange Cat, please use the new Orange Cat Support Center to request it.
